Navigating the CPCB Portal
Filing your annual EPR returns is the final and most crucial step in the compliance lifecycle. The deadline is strictly enforced, and errors in data entry can trigger audits.
### Step 1: Data Aggregation
Before logging in, compile all your sales, import, and production data for the financial year. This data must match your GST filings, as the CPCB portal is integrated with the GSTN network.
### Step 2: Certificate Procurement
Ensure you have procured enough Extended Producer Responsibility Certificates (EPR Certificates) from authorized recyclers to meet your calculated target.
### Step 3: Portal Login and Target Verification
Log into the centralized CPCB portal. Verify that the auto-calculated target on the dashboard matches your internal calculations.
### Step 4: Transfer of Certificates
The recyclers you partnered with must digitally transfer the EPR certificates to your PIBO dashboard. You must accept these transfers on the portal to offset your liability.
### Step 5: Final Submission and Auditor Verification
Submit the annual return. Depending on the volume, you may need a chartered accountant or an authorized auditor to digitally sign and verify the return.
### Why Struggle with the Portal?
The CPCB portal frequently updates its UI and data requirements. 3E Concepts handles the entire portal management, data entry, and filing process, saving your team hundreds of administrative hours.
